  Hue Citadel

Located right on the banks of the romantic Perfume River, Hue Citadel is a complex of cultural relics recognized as a world cultural relic. The complex of Hue Citadel includes the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden City, surrounded by the Citadel area.

Hue Mausoleums

The Nguyen Dynasty had 13 kings, but due to economic and political reasons, only 7 mausoleums were built, all of which remain today with their own architectural styles.

. Each mausoleum area was chosen by the king himself for the location and architecture, so each mausoleum here has its own architectural features with sophisticated and unique carved details. The most unique must mention the Tomb of Tu Duc, Tomb of Minh Mang and Tomb of Khai Dinh.

Tomb of Tu Duc

Located in a narrow valley in Duong Xuan Thuong village, Cu Chanh canton, Tu Duc Tomb (also known as Khiem Lang) is probably the most beautiful of the mausoleums of the Nguyen kings because of the harmony between the natural scenery "characteristically painted" and vast architectural space. Nearly 50 works in the mausoleum in the two areas impregnated with electricity and the mausoleum all have the word Khiem in the name. The mausoleum has elements of spaciousness, soft lines reflecting the romantic soul of this poetic king.

Minh Mang tomb

12 km from Hue city center, located on Cam Khe mountain, near Bang Lang junction, Minh Mang Tomb (or Hieu Lang) is the resting place of the second king of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Built from 1840 to 1843, when completed, the mausoleum is 26 hectares wide, is an architectural complex of 40 large and small works located on an area of ​​cool hills, rivers and lakes. Minh Mang Tomb has an architecture that is a harmonious combination between the space of painting and poetry and the natural scenery of flowers and leaves full of lyricism.

Khai Dinh mausoleum

Built on Chau Chu mountain, Khai Dinh Tomb is the resting place of the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. Although smaller in size than the mausoleum of the previous kings, Khai Dinh Tomb was built in an extremely elaborate and sophisticated way for up to 10 years.

Khai Dinh Tomb is the only mausoleum work with the architecture of interference between East and West cultures. In particular, Khai Dinh Tomb is famous for its 3 frescoes "Cuu Long Hidden Van" decorated on the ceiling of 3 nave houses in Thien Dinh Palace, which is considered the most monumental and valuable in Vietnam.

Thien Mu Pagoda

Thien Mu Pagoda, also known as Linh Mu, is located on Ha Khe hill, beside the poetic and lyrical Perfume River in Thua Thien - Hue province. This is one of the oldest temples in the ancient capital. With ancient architecture, the picture of nature here is more charming, dignified and sacred.

An icon associated with the image of "Thien Mu Pagoda" is Phuoc Duyen tower. The 21m-high tower, consisting of seven floors, was built in front of the pagoda. Each floor of the tower has a statue of Buddha.

In addition to Phuoc Nguyen tower, "Thien Mu Pagoda" there are also architectural works such as Dai Hung Palace, Dia Tang Palace, Quan Am Palace, etc., with stone stele, bronze bell. In addition, the temple is also home to many valuable antiques in terms of history and art. The statues of the Dharma protector, the statue of the ten kings, the statue of Maitreya Buddha, the statue of the Buddha Tam The Buddha... or the horizontal concubines and couplets here all mark the golden historical periods of Thien Mu Pagoda.

Huong river

The Perfume River, or the Huong Giang River, is a river flowing through the city of Hue and the districts and towns:  Huong Tra,  Huong Thuy, Phu Vang  all belong to the province of  Thua Thien-Hue, central Vietnam.

The Perfume River has two main sources and both originate in the  Truong Son mountain range, where these two streams meet and form the Perfume River.

As a symbol and also the pride of the people of Hue, the Perfume River is as gentle as a long, soft silk strip in the middle of the dreamy land of Kinh Ky. Perfume River is emerald green, clear as if reflecting the whole scene of the poetic city under the calm water and sparkling in the sunlight.

Ngu Binh Mountain

In addition to the romantic Perfume River, Ngu Binh Mountain is also a natural symbol and pride of the people of Hue. Bach Ma Mountain

Moving away from the center of Hue city, Bach Ma Mountain is the natural boundary between Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang in the Bach Ma national park with majestic waterfalls and a diversity of rare flora and fauna.
